No More Crowns
Custom designed and fabricated to restore your tooth’s functionality and appearance.
These might be called inlays, onlays or 3/4 crowns, but in a biomimetic practice, a full-coverage conventional crown is rarely done.
No Crowns
The perception today of what dentists do is that they fill teeth and crown teeth. This practice is focused on biomimetic dentistry. Teeth can be restored without crowning the tooth. The preparation of a tooth for a conventional full coverage crown requires radical removal of tooth structure. This can stress the tooth, possibly leading to a root canal and compromise the structural integrity of the tooth. Biomimetic dentistry maintains good tooth structure and we build to it. These metal free restorations are bonded in place, restoring strength and function to the tooth, and they look like a natural tooth.
